Lately I’ve been trying to adopt the “less is more” philosophy as well as the “use what works” philosophy – and it’s been working.

For some reason for the last few months it’s been really hard for me to get out of bed on time, and because skincare is important to me, I’ve been looking for a way to hop out of bed, use all the products I need and zoom out the door.

This post is a bit late, I know but I purchased some products at the end of February and was patiently waiting for them to arrive.

Some of the products I purchased are tried and true favs, others are some newbies that I’d been wanting to try and decided to jump on the bandwagon.

I’m going to try to keep this short (probably won’t lol), so let’s jump right in!

It’s been a while since I have posted here, but I’m back! I’ve been on a bit of a spending fast (which went pretty terribly) so I was trying my hardest not to purchase much in the month of September. I recently went to one of my favorite stores (Sephora), to pick up some things and I also recently got some orders in from Amazon. Perfect timing for a post!

I know you see the Fenty Beauty products front and center so lets start there! Because I hate going into stores when they are super packed, I waited until the week after the Fenty Beauty launch to stop in Sephora and pick up somethings that I saw in the 100+ tutorials I watched beforehand. Just my luck however, the darker shades were sold out at two locations but I was still able to get IQ matched so when the foundation is restocked, I will be able to purchase. I did get a sample and let me tell you… best foundation I have EVER used… EVER! I will talk more about it when I am able to purchase it and wear it more often, but all I can say is it really does look like skin.

For the past year I have been really focused on improving my skin, getting a regimen down and also finding products that will be staples in my collection. I’m not really the type of person that likes to use A LOT of different products, mainly because I breakout in hives really easy so I don’t want to test a lot of things at once and not know exactly what’s causing me to breakout. I try to test a product for at least 6 months before I say if I love it or hate it. A lot of the products above I’ve been using for moooonths and they haven’t let me down so I wanted to share with you all some of my current beauty favorites and products I will always reach for!

This is going to be a long one friends, so grab a snack… or two!
